How installation worksPlanning a backyard in Alamo Ranch
Room to grow
Yards around Alamo Ranch are often open and fairly flat, which makes it easier to fit a bigger playset or a larger shed. Measure the full play area, not just the frame.
Pick a dry, level spot
Clay soils in this part of Texas can stay soft after rain. Choose well-drained ground for a playset or shed.
Plan for the Texas sun
Open lots get strong afternoon sun. Consider a shaded spot or a roof on the fort, and face slides away from the western sun when you can.
Check HOA and city rules
Many neighborhoods ask for approval before a shed or a larger playset goes up. Confirm setbacks, height limits and permits before you order.
